PROM tickets will be on sale starting the week of April 30th. They are $65 each. Please  make sure you have met all obligations for the Social Hosting presentation and office hours before attempting to buy a ticket.

March Update

The yearbook committee is excited to share that we unexpectedly have 4 additional pages to include in the parent ad section of the yearbook. The space on these pages will be available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis. Because of time sensitive deadlines with the yearbook company for printing, they must be purchased and finalized by Friday 3/23. We will be sending the book to print next week!

To purchase and build a Parent Ad please visit PICTAVO COMMUNITY at https://commpe.pictavo.com/PictavoSchool/FindSchool  (Create an Account and then Find Your School.) Please note: the Pictavo website and ad builder works BEST when using Google Chrome as your browser. You will be prompted to select the ad size and purchase it before creating it. To create it, locate the "My Stuff" tab and select the ad you purchased from that menu. You will then be able to add pictures, words, edit, etc. If you need any assistance with building the ad, please contact our Pictavo representative Kathy Curley at krcurley12@gmail.com.

Yearbook Orders:  You can order online or complete an order form and return to Mrs. McGovern in the Guidance
Office. Cash or checks made payable to: SLRHS. The cost of the yearbook is now $80 and the deadline to order
is 4/9/2018. You can also DONATE A BOOK to a deserving student.

Caps and gowns are on-sale NOW!  The cost of the standard package is now $35 and comes with a cap, gown and one tassel. You may purchase an additional tassel and other items from Jostens if you would like. Students are also able to use the cap/gown of an older family member as long as it is a RED cap/gown that was purchased through SL (this way the colors match.) You will, however, need to purchase a new 2018 tassel. Please let us know if you have questions.  Caps/gowns/tassels will be delivered to the high school and distributed during graduation rehearsal week in May. If you still need to order your cap and gown please visit the graduation link on this website. The deadline to order a cap and gown (without significant rush shipping charges) is 3/30/2018.

Prom:
The senior prom will be held on Friday May 18, 2018 at the Boston Long Wharf Marriott from 7-11. Students will leave Silver Lake Regional High School at 5:30 via coach buses. Students can begin arriving at the school around 4:30 with the red carpet set to take place around 5:00. Information on ticket sales will be available soon.

• The yearbook committee is working hard on putting the book together! The students need your help getting more pictures...Here are the sections we are working on right now and could use more pictures of (group pictures are preferred because we can feature more students with less space):
• Junior Prom
• All spirit week days from senior year
• Elementary and Middle School
• Whos that baby (this is NOT a parent ad! Please include the name of the senior for pictures submitted for this section)
• Any candids for junior, sophomore, and freshmen year
• Please upload them directly to Pictavo Community ( https://commpe.pictavo.com/PictavoSchool/FindSchool ) or email them to yearbook@slrsd.org

PLEASE NOTE: ADS can only be purchased and built online. Please visit https://commpe.pictavo.com/PictavoSchool/FindSchool and find Silver Lake to purchase an Ad. To take advantage of the lowest possible prices, please submit all materials and payments by 1/26/2018 to save $10. Deadline for all Parent Recognition Ads is 2/9/2018. The deadline has been extended to 3/9/18!!!!

YEARBOOK/PICTAVO COMMUNITY UPDATE: Please use GOOGLE CHROME as your browser when attempting to upload images in Pictavo. Also, files need to be 15MB or smaller in size.  Make sure you are using THIS LINK: https://commpe.pictavo.com/PictavoSchool/FindSchool

The website should have a BLACK background. If it has a BLUE background, you are on the old site which has been deactivated. 

December News and Updates

• Senior portraits by personal photographers are due in Pictavo Community by December 1st!
• Senior Quote and Thank You instructions were emailed to students on 11/28. All submissions are due by December 8th! Information is also available under the yearbook section of this website.
• Yankee Candle orders have arrived!  Online orders were shipped home and all other orders were delivered to the school on 11/28. They will be available for pick up later this week- stay tuned for more information!
• The Senior Dinner Dance is on Friday 12/1 from 6-10 at Indian Pond Country Club. Tickets need to purchased in advance. Senior superlative winners will also be announced at this event.

We just found out that starting tomorrow Thursday 10/19 through Sunday 10/22 the class of 2018 will receive 50% commission on all Yankee Candle online sales this weekend!!  

We are extending online sales only and the discounted prom ticket promotion-$10 off your prom ticket for every $100 sold, through Sunday 10/22!

Are you interested in playing in the annual Female Flag football game against Pembroke?? Come to the meeting on October 19 in Ms Leontie's room (1305) for more info. If you know you want to play, bring $10 to sign up. We'll have an additional sign up meeting Thursday October 26th. 

We're also looking for a team of guys to be our CHEERLEADERS!! If you're interested, come sign up tomorrow. Everyone always has so much fun, don't miss out for your senior year!!

You'll be playing/ cheering on November 15th starting at 6. There will also be at least 1 mandatory practice before then... we will try our best to work with everyone's schedule.

The Senior Class Council is doing a parking raffle for the month of October! Tickets are being sold at all lunches Thursday 9/28 and Friday 9/29 for $5 each. The winners will have teacher lot parking passes for the entire month of October! Spread the word and stop by to buy your ticket!

1. During the Senior Class meeting on 9/8 everyone received a fundraiser packet for Yankee Candle.
2. There is an incentive available for anyone who sells more than $100- you will receive $10 off of your prom ticket!
3.  Please use THIS LINK to access all the information you will need to participate. All orders are due by October 13th. There will be a box in the main office or you can stop by room 1305. Orders can also be placed ONLINE using this link. Please see an officer, Ms. Leontie or Ms. Fontaine with any questions.
